About this fabric
Ripstop has heavier reinforcement threads woven into a grid, so a small tear cannot run across the fabric. With a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, light rain beads off rather than soaking in.
It is used for sideline rain jackets, windbreakers and coaches' jackets, usually with a mesh lining for comfort. Note that water-repellent is not waterproof: for fully waterproof garments with taped seams, tell us the conditions and we will specify a laminated fabric instead.

Care
- Wash at 30°C, gentle cycle
- No fabric softener — it damages the water-repellent finish
- Line dry; a short low-heat tumble can refresh the finish
