Basketball Uniforms

Basketball uniforms are worn under bright lights, in warm gyms, by players who jump, cut and collide for forty minutes. The design has to look sharp on court and on camera, and the fabric has to move air. That is why most uniforms are sublimated mesh.

The uniform set

Game vest. Sleeveless, with deep armholes and bound edges that lie flat. Long enough to stay tucked. Large numbers front and back in your font.

Shorts. Long and roomy, with a wide elastic waistband and drawcord that hold through jumps. Side panels and stripes match the vest.

Shooting shirt. A short-sleeve warm-up top worn over the vest before games.

Fabric

Micro-mesh is the lightest and most breathable option, used for most game uniforms. Bird's-eye mesh is slightly tighter and more durable, good for training and youth teams. Both sublimate cleanly so colours stay bright through a season of washing.

Numbers and names

Basketball numbers are large and highly visible, and leagues often specify their size and position. We sublimate them in your chosen font with an outline or shadow where needed, or apply tackle-twill numbers for a traditional look.

Women's and youth fits

Women's vests are cut with a narrower shoulder and shaped body; youth sizes are cut shorter and narrower rather than just scaled down. All fits can share one design.
