About this fabric

Performance interlock is the fabric most football, futsal and volleyball kits are made from. An interlock knit is two layers of knitting locked together, which gives a smooth face on both sides. That smooth face is why sublimated colours come out sharp — there is no texture breaking up fine lines or small sponsor text.

At 140 GSM it sits in the middle of the jersey range: substantial enough not to look see-through in white, light enough for summer leagues. For hot climates we can go down to 120 GSM; for winter kits or a more premium handle, up to 160 GSM.

The fabric comes in white or a light base because sublimation dyes the fibre rather than covering it. That means any design colour is possible, but it also means dark solid colours are printed, not dyed.

Colours

White or light base for sublimation — the colour comes from the print, so any shade is possible.

Care

  • Wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours
  • Do not bleach or use fabric softener — it blocks moisture wicking
  • Do not tumble dry on high heat; line dry
  • Do not iron over prints or transfers
