Fabric inspection
Rolls are checked before cutting for holes, slubs, shading and print defects. GSM and width are confirmed against the order specification.
Quality control
Nine checks between the fabric roll and the sealed carton. The approved sample is the standard, and anything outside it is corrected before it ships.
Our approach
Quality control is easier when everyone is checking against the same thing. For every order, that is the pre-production sample you approved and the spec sheet behind it — fabric, colours, measurements, decoration and packing.
Checks happen during production as well as at the end, because a misaligned print is cheaper to catch on the first ten panels than on the last five hundred garments. If you work to a specific inspection level, such as an AQL standard, tell us when you order and we will inspect to it.
Rolls are checked before cutting for holes, slubs, shading and print defects. GSM and width are confirmed against the order specification.
Dyed fabric and printed panels are compared against the approved sample under consistent light, so the second batch of a kit matches the first.
Garments are measured at the key points — chest, length, sleeve, waist, inseam — and compared with the spec sheet and its tolerances.
Seams are checked for stitch density, puckering, skipped stitches and open seams; stress points are checked for reinforcement.
Sublimation is checked for sharpness, colour, white creases and alignment across seams. Screen prints and transfers are checked for coverage and adhesion.
Crests are checked for thread breaks, density, colour order, backing and loose threads.
Crest, sponsor and number positions are measured against the approved sample, not judged by eye.
Each finished garment is inspected for appearance, labels, trims, size, and the name and number against the squad list.
Carton contents are checked against the packing list — styles, sizes and quantities — before cartons are sealed and marked.
When something fails
Pieces outside tolerance are repaired where that restores them fully, or remade from new fabric.
If a defect repeats, the line stops and the cause is fixed before production continues.
If an issue affects your delivery date, you hear it from us before the date arrives.
