Custom football kit design

Custom Football Kits

Original football kit designs built around your club's identity — not a catalogue template with your colours swapped in. Designed with you, sampled, then produced.

Plenty of suppliers offer "custom" kits that are really a fixed template with your colours dropped in. A truly custom kit starts with your club: its history, its badge, its city, the stripes your founders wore. Sublimation means none of that costs more to produce than a plain shirt.

How the design process works

  1. Brief. Tell us about the club and what the kit should say. Send your crest, sponsor logos and anything that inspires you — a vintage shirt, a city skyline, a pattern from the badge.
  2. Concepts. Our designer develops kit concepts on real garment templates, front and back.
  3. Refine. You choose a direction and we refine collar, cuffs, pattern scale and sponsor placement.
  4. Mock-up approval. A final mock-up shows the exact kit at real proportions.
  5. Sample. A physical sample is made in the real fabric so you can see colours and print quality.
  6. Production. Your squad's names, numbers and sizes are produced and checked.

You can also start with the kit builder and send your rough design to us as the brief.

Design details that make a kit yours

  • Patterns taken from your crest, city or club history, printed subtly into the body.
  • Collar and cuff trims in a contrast or accent colour.
  • Inner-neck prints — a founding year or motto that only the players see.
  • Custom number fonts matched to your identity, within league legibility rules.
  • Gradient and fade effects that are impossible with traditional printing.

Why sublimation suits custom designs

Because the design is printed into the fabric, complexity is free. A shirt with fifteen colours and a photographic pattern costs the same to produce as a plain one. The print does not crack or peel, and the digital file means next year's reorder prints the same way.

Practical things to decide early

  • Your league's rules on shirt colours, number size and sponsor area.
  • Women's and youth fits — the same design, cut differently.
  • Change and goalkeeper kits — easiest to design together.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

It depends on the product. Sublimated teamwear starts at 10 pieces per design, with sizes mixed freely. Cut-and-sew lifestyle products, such as hoodies and joggers, usually start at 50 pieces per style per colour. Each product page lists its MOQ. Our guide Understanding sportswear MOQ explains why minimums exist.

Can every player have their own name and number?

Yes. Send a spreadsheet with name, number and size for each player. We check it against your quantities before production and again at final inspection.
