About this fabric
French terry has small loops on the inside instead of a brushed pile. It is less warm than fleece but breathes better and drapes more naturally, so it suits year-round hoodies, joggers and shorts.
It is a favourite for lifestyle collections because it garment-dyes and washes well, giving the lived-in colour many brands want. Screen prints and embroidery both sit cleanly on the smooth face.

Care
- Wash at 30–40°C inside out
- Wash dark colours separately for the first washes
- Tumble dry low or line dry to limit shrinkage
- Iron on the reverse, avoiding prints
